Supporting the next generation of research on neglected invertebrate species.
There are nearly one million described species of arthropods. There may be as many as ten million.
We know virtually nothing about these animals and, as a result, know very little about how best to help them.
The mission of the Arthropoda Foundation is to support research that can inform advocacy on the most pressing problems facing arthropods. In particular, we prioritize foundational research that has yet to be explored by traditional funding bodies, thereby increasing its impact for the organisms in Phylum Arthropoda.
